Concep and Meaning of Business

 
     Simply business mean the economic activities done for getting benefit by human beings. We can see different activities from very small tea-shops to heavy industry and businesses. We con also can see our relatives, neighbors, friends and so on engaged in one or the other economic activities for their livelihood. they do so to get benefit in return of taking risk of investigation of their capital. So business is an economic activities conduct by humans for getting profits.

      The literal meaning of the word business is state of being busy. However, all kinds of busy-ness  cannot be called as business. To be called business, their must be a busy activities having purpose of getting profit by taking risk of investment of capital. In fact, the meaning of the word 'business' is specially related to the activities of the production of goods and services or exchanges ( buying and selling) of them, and such activities must have continuity and regularity. Hence, the element such as profit, risk, and continuity have close link with the word 'business'.
